Preston Freight System Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods and materials across various routes. Your duties will include:
Key Responsibilities- Operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods and materials
- Conducting pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition
- Communicating with central dispatch and receiving and relaying information
- Recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
- Transporting and handling dangerous goods
Requirements
- AZ class license
- Basic security clearance
- Driver's validity license check
- Drug test
- Valid driver's license
Working Conditions
