Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Regional Sewer and Watermain Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, including backhoes, bulldozers, and loaders, to perform tasks such as excavation, trenching, and backfilling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to complete tasks on time and within budget
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment as needed
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a focus on quality
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or maintenance setting
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks for extended periods
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
