Job Summary

Hydro One Networks Inc is seeking a skilled Time and Attendance Analyst to support the day-to-day operations of the Time & Attendance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for clarifying and investigating system-related issues, assisting with system enhancements, and performing testing activities to ensure timesheet processing activities are accurate, secure, and compliant with collective agreements and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Time & Attendance Supervisor and team lead in managing the day-to-day operations of the team.
  • Provide necessary support and work with internal and external contacts to clarify and investigate system-related issues.
  • Assist with reporting and extracting data from the Time system.
  • Contribute expertise to enhance the system and make processes efficient.
  • Perform testing activities related to master data processing and system changes.
  • Monitor jobs within the Time System.
  • Run and prepare reports related to system testing.
  • Create work instructions and maintain/update documents for system updates.
  • Provide client support and address issues in a timely manner with good customer service skills.
Requirements
  • Requires a knowledge of data processing and proficiency in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, and database application programs.
  • Requires a knowledge of English, both oral and written, to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.
  • Requires a knowledge of business administration and information technology to assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of information systems and change initiatives.
  • Requires experience in the use of computer hardware and software information systems to produce various reports.
  • Requires experience with Workforce software or reviewing/entering timesheet data.
  • Requires experience in system testing and configuration validations.
