About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at 102667 PEI INC. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting our Executive Chef in the planning, preparation, and execution of menus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Assist in planning and estimating food requirements for special events and daily operations.

Inventory Management

Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.

Culinary Operations

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Staff Training and Development

Train and mentor junior staff members in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and safety.

Kitchen Maintenance and Organization

Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for staff and guests.

Event Management

Assist in organizing and executing buffets and banquets, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experience.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant culinary experience.

Security and Safety

Basic security clearance and adherence to company safety protocols.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks.

Personal Suitability

Excellent client focus, flexibility, organization, reliability, and teamwork skills.
