Job Title: User Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated User Support Technician to join our team at Ontario Inc.

Job Summary

The User Support Technician will provide technical assistance and support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, software, and other technology-related issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to user inquiries and provide timely and effective solutions to technical issues
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
  • Provide training and guidance to users on the use of computer systems and software
  • Collect and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software to improve user experience
  • Supervise and mentor junior technical support staff
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users
  • Set up and configure computer equipment for employee use
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education in a related field
  • 1-6 months of experience in a technical support role
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, software, and technology
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
