We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at T & M Truck & Trailer Repair Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.
Key Responsibilities- Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload goods, adhering to company procedures and ensuring the security of cargo.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Certifications: Possess a valid Air Brakes Endorsement and a Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive tasks and sitting for extended periods.
- Physical Demands: Lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a variety of weather conditions.
