We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Hit & Run Collision Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding processes and be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
  • Fabricate or repair metal parts and products using welding, brazing, or soldering equipment
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and manual dexterity required. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in welding or a related field
  • Or equivalent experience
