- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BCLS).
- Recent experience in medical nursing, with a focus on renal care.
- Ability to use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in medical nursing or a related field.
- Recent continuing education in medical nursing or a related field.
