About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at Marlon and Elsa Antonio. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Support clients with daily living activities, such as feeding, grooming, and mobility assistance.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, preparing and serving nutritious meals to clients.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Availability to work 35 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate client needs.
