We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at JGA Investments Inc. in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment.
Job Summary:The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the field
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to train staff
- Ability to maintain inventory and records
The Line Cook will work in a restaurant setting with a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
