We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at JGA Investments Inc.
Job SummaryThe Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
- Work setting: Restaurant
- Transportation: Own transportation, Public transportation is available
- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy loads, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods, Work under pressure
