Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Manager to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the human resources function for our Vancouver-based operations, ensuring compliance with BC Employment Standards and providing strategic guidance to our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Leadership: Provide strategic HR guidance to our executive team and ensure effective implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and employee communications.
  • Benefits Administration: Administer benefits programs, including health and dental coverage, pension plans, and other employee benefits.
  • Compensation and Performance Management: Develop and implement compensation and performance management strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with BC Employment Standards and other relevant laws and regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in HR leadership roles, with a focus on unionized environments.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of BC Employment Standards, labor relations, and HR best practices.
