Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Operations Supervisor to join our team at Fort Saskatchewan Bottle Depot. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and efficient use of resources.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Generate and submit regular reports on inventory levels, shipping and receiving activities, and other key performance indicators.
  • Resolve Work Problems: Identify and resolve issues related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Coordinate and Assign Work: Supervise and direct the work of warehouse staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure optimal use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Plan and Organize Operational Logistics: Oversee the planning and organization of operational logistics, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week
