Position Overview:
  • Department Insight: At our contact centres, assisting customers is central to our mission. We take pride in the value we provide to over 27 million TD customers, operating from 7am EST to 12am EST, seven days a week. Role Responsibilities
  • As the representative of TD, you will be dedicated to understanding our clients' needs. Whether addressing incoming calls regarding account questions or resolving issues by providing advice and recommending TD products or services, you will deliver trusted support to our clients.
  • You will consistently provide exceptional customer service by offering tailored solutions to meet each caller's unique banking requirements.
  • As a valued member of our Contact Centre Team, you will:
  • Enhance customer experiences: consistently deliver outstanding service by providing friendly assistance through your knowledge of TD's offerings.
  • Resolve inquiries effectively: address customer questions at the first point of contact by engaging with empathy and understanding.
  • Meet performance targets: consistently achieve objectives related to customer experience surveys, quality standards, compliance regulations, and productivity metrics.
  • Embrace continuous learning: actively participate in ongoing training and coaching to foster your growth and development in this role.
Work Environment

After completing in-person training and onboarding, you will primarily work remotely. Since most of your tasks can be performed independently, you will spend approximately 95% of your time in a secure, private workspace with a reliable internet connection. The remaining time will involve attending TD locations for team events and activities, with further details provided by the hiring manager.

Qualifications for Success
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
  • Outstanding communication and listening abilities, with a genuine desire to assist customers in meeting their needs and resolving issues. (Preference will be given to candidates with experience in financial or service sectors.)
  • Capability to multitask and navigate various computer systems and applications efficiently while maintaining performance standards.
  • Digital proficiency across a range of devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops, headsets).
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a positive demeanor when handling challenging situations.
  • A passion for helping customers by offering consultative advice to address unexpressed needs.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Integrity in managing sensitive customer information in accordance with Regulatory and Compliance guidelines.
