About the G. Start Program:

This initiative is designed for university students seeking a paid internship that focuses on cultivating future leaders in both technical and managerial capacities. The program is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion within the workplace.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist Continuous Casting facilitators in their operations
  • Support the execution of the Annual Action Plan for the Melt Shop Department
  • Perform process data analysis and implement strategies for improvement
  • Engage in Failure Analysis to resolve process-related issues

Growth Opportunities:

  • Acquire hands-on experience in managing processes within a manufacturing environment
  • Mentor incoming interns and facilitate knowledge transfer

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with Advanced Excel and AutoCad is advantageous

Program Requirements:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Materials Science or Metallurgy
  • Exemplary academic performance and demonstrated leadership experience
