About Gerdau's IT Internship
Gerdau is a leading steel manufacturing company seeking university students for its IT Leadership Development Program. This paid internship aims to develop students for future technical and managerial positions.
Program Details
The IT Intern will provide technical assistance and support to Gerdau users, installing and maintaining computer systems, resolving internet and network access issues, and providing coaching to users on software and hardware use.
Requirements
- Undergraduate entering third or fourth year
- Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Record of high academic achievement (GPA 3.0 or higher preferred)
- Well-rounded applicants with leadership roles in student organizations or extra-curricular activities
- Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the country of hire without requiring current or future sponsorship for employment
- Candidates must demonstrate leadership potential, strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, initiative, and problem-solving skills
