About the RoleThis is a full-time, 6-month long internship opportunity with Gerdau. As an IT Intern, you will provide direct technical assistance and support to Gerdau users for hardware, software, and application issues. Your duties will include installing and maintaining computer systems, resolving internet and network access issues, providing network printer support, and meeting with staff to provide one-on-one technical assistance.
Program Requirements- You must be an undergraduate entering third or fourth year.
- You must be pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from a recognized accredited university.
- You must have a record of high academic achievement (GPA 3.0 or higher preferred).
- You must be well-rounded with leadership roles in student organizations or extra-curricular activities.
- You must be legally authorized to work full-time in the country of hire without requiring current or future sponsorship for employment.
- You must demonstrate leadership potential, strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
