Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Dunrovin Park Lodge. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

About the Role:
  • Provide nursing care to patients in a complex care facility with 117 beds.
  • Work within a client and family-centered care model and in accordance with the standards, scope, and code of ethics as outlined by BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant.
  • One (1) year of recent, related acute care or residential experience.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills within a specific clinical specialty or patient population.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to assign care and share knowledge with the multidisciplinary team, clients, and families.
  • Ability to organize work and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients and families.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
