Position Overview

The Inventory Control Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the management of stock and ensuring efficient operations within the warehouse. This position requires a keen eye for detail and strong leadership skills to coordinate the activities of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Ordering: Responsible for placing orders for stock to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Returns Authorization: Oversee the authorization process for returning merchandise to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports regarding sales performance, inventory management, and personnel issues.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any challenges that arise, including customer inquiries, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Inventory Organization: Maintain a well-organized inventory system to facilitate easy access and tracking of stock.
  • Team Supervision: Lead and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure productivity and efficiency.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety standards and departmental policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Stock Placement: Manage the placement of stock on shelves to optimize space and accessibility.
Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within a retail or warehouse environment.
