Job Title: Quantum Computing Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantum Computing Data Analyst to join our team at D-Wave Quantum Inc. As a key member of our Business Systems team, you will be responsible for developing a data analytics function and working closely with various departments to ensure that our users, products, and business have the models, data products, and insights needed to make decisions and grow responsibly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out analysis on product performance, user journey analysis, and marketing/content effectiveness to help our business understand which touchpoints and tactics are driving the greatest value (and why).
  • Create reports and visualizations in Power BI (Business Intelligence) and other analytics tools.
  • Create and maintain dashboards for various departments including executive dashboards.
  • Assist in creating actionable business recommendations through analysis and data storytelling.
  • Clean and validate data to ensure appropriate filtering and correctness of data.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years' experience in Business Intelligence Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Analysis, or Data Science roles, building data pipelines and analyzing large datasets to solve problems.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree preferred in mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and/or R.
  • Expertise in visualization and using data insights to make recommendations and achieve goals.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver on multiple projects with great attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience at a growth stage SaaS (Software as a Service), software, or other subscription-based company.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS, and with data services (e.g., Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience building data warehouses or data lakes).
  • Experience working with financial data.
  • Experience working with Vena or other Financial Planning and Analysis software.
