VCA Canada is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Veterinary Technologist to enhance our Emergency Services team. This role presents a unique opportunity for enthusiastic technicians to deepen their expertise in high-quality emergency medicine under the guidance of a board-certified specialist in emergency and critical care.
Our Emergency Veterinary Technologists engage in comprehensive patient care for a variety of specialty cases, encompassing areas such as Dentistry, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Dermatology, Surgery, and Anesthesia. The Centre's philosophy emphasizes outstanding patient care within a progressive and collaborative educational environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a positive demeanor, exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding client experiences. Comprehensive training is available to support your professional growth.
Work Schedule: The work schedule is designed to promote a healthy work-life balance, featuring a rotation of two days on/two days off/five days on/five days off, including every other weekend off, along with an emergency response premium. This schedule rotates monthly among day, swing, and overnight shifts (with an overnight premium). Flexibility is appreciated, but we prioritize a supportive work environment.
