Job Summary

The Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency Centre, a member of VCA Canada, is seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technologist Supervisor for Specialty Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Train and orient new team members
  • Create an equitable schedule for the team
  • Coordinate vacation coverage
  • Cross-train within the hospital departments
  • Assist in performance management
  • Participate in patient treatments as necessary to support the ER team and overall hospital support

Requirements

  • Registered Veterinary Technologist
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently on your own and with the team
