About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Narinder Singh. As a Home Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and watching movies.
  • Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
  • Exercise and Activity: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, and engage in other activities that promote physical and mental well-being.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Work in the client's home, with occasional travel to employer's home.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability, patience, and honesty are essential qualities for this role.
Working Conditions
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
