About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Luisa. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Support clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical health and mobility.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring the home is safe and hygienic.
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging in activities that promote mental stimulation and well-being.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings, providing transportation and support.
Requirements
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to lift and move clients as needed.
  • Repetitive tasks, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
