About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at BonDoc Household. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, maintaining their dignity and comfort.
  • Support clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote their physical health and mobility.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and clean environment for clients.
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging them in activities and conversations.
  • Assist clients with daily tasks, such as dressing and grooming, to promote their independence.
Requirements
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of personal care and support services.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, including English.
