About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Helper to join our team at Wendy's Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and cook food items to order, including burgers, fries, and salads.
    • Portion and package food items for customers.
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, including work surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.
    • Ensure that all cleaning and sanitizing tasks are completed to the highest standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, including taking orders and handling customer complaints.
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are friendly, courteous, and professional.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies and inventory in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Ensure that all inventory and supplies are properly labeled and stored.
  • Equipment and Machinery Operation
    • Operate kitchen equipment, including deep fryers and grills, in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
  • Transportation and Travel
    • May be required to travel to other locations for training or other business purposes.
  • Physical Demands
    • May be required to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for long periods of time.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience
    • Will train on the job.
  • Language
    • English language proficiency required.
  • Work Term
    • Permanent position.
  • Hours
    • 35 hours per week.
