Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data architectures that meet the business needs of our organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and cloud-based data platforms.
They will also have experience working with big data technologies such as Snowflake, BigQuery, and Apache Airflow.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement data architectures that meet the business needs of our organization
- Develop and maintain data models and data warehouses
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity
- Collaborate with data management team to ensure best practices for data sourcing, key data elements, data quality management and metadata
- Engage with data warehousing team in the migration to cloud warehousing
- Provide data initiatives, evaluations, and mentorship with projects in accordance to our corporate guidelines
- Build expertise in diverse and emerging technologies and new architectural concepts and principles
- Ensure the proper use of information technology project management methodology to comply with governance practices
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years professional experience as a data analyst, Solution Architect, data engineer, or related role developing conceptual, logical, and preliminary physical models for an enterprise
- Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, SQL or Cloud technologies
- Experience working with cloud data warehousing (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery)
- Database architecture and data warehousing experience
- Project management
