Job SummaryWe are seeking an Expert Data Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data architectures that meet the business needs of our organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, cloud computing, and data governance. They will be responsible for evaluating reusability of current data for additional analyses, reviewing object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access.
The Expert Data Architect will also be responsible for defining how the data is stored, consumed, coordinated and led by different data entities and IT systems. They will engage with the data management team in best practices for data sourcing, key data elements, data quality management and metadata.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement data architectures that meet the business needs of our organization
- Evaluate reusability of current data for additional analyses
- Review object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access
- Define how the data is stored, consumed, coordinated and led by different data entities and IT systems
- Engage with the data management team in best practices for data sourcing, key data elements, data quality management and metadata
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years professional experience as a data analyst, Solution Architect, data engineer, or related role developing conceptual, logical, and preliminary physical models for an enterprise
- Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, SQL or Cloud technologies
- Experience working with cloud data warehousing (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery)
- Database architecture and data warehousing experience
- Project management
