About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Kids Zone Child Care Centre Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to their needs.
  • Assist early childhood educators in developing and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining accurate records of children's progress.
  • Engage children in activities that foster their creativity and curiosity, such as storytelling, singing, and crafting.
  • Prepare healthy snacks and arrange rooms or furniture to create a safe and welcoming environment for children.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors to inform their care and education.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and challenges, and contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Work Environment

Our child care centre is located in an urban area, and we offer a non-smoking environment. Public transportation is available, and relocation costs are covered by the employer.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, judgement, and a team player attitude.
