Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Elfi First School. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and contributing to the development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support the maintenance of accurate records and reports.
  • Encourage children to express their creativity through various activities, such as art, music, and physical play.
  • Engage children in activities that promote learning and development, including storytelling, singing, and crafts.
  • Assist children in developing good habits, such as eating, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange the environment to ensure a safe and healthy space for children.
  • Monitor children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and report to parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of children.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Reliability and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations.
