As a Middleware Infrastructure Specialist at Laurentian Bank, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the Architecture team to assist in crafting solutions and developing design documentation
  • Taking ownership of the Middleware platform specifications and architectural design
  • Providing expert technical guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that align with organizational objectives
  • Overseeing the overall quality of technical solutions and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives
  • Implementing standards and best practices for Middleware Infrastructure
  • Managing the execution of backup and Disaster Recovery processes for the Middleware Infrastructure

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Over 10 years of IT experience in managing middleware infrastructure within the banking or financial services sector
  • Proficiency with Middleware across various platforms such as AIX, Solaris, Linux, Windows, and Mainframe
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical details effectively and collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is considered an asset
