About the Role

The Bioanalytical Research Scientist will be responsible for developing and optimizing LC-MS/MS assays for research and development purposes. This individual will need to have a strong understanding of mass spectrometry theory and applications, as well as experience with serum/plasma and tissue sample extraction techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize LC-MS/MS assays for research and development purposes.
  • Conduct analytical pre-clinical and clinical studies in compliance with GLPs, SOPs, and current industry best practices.
  • Provide research project planning and deliver on time solutions.
  • Interpret, analyze, document, and report results on analytical projects.
  • Coordinate results with clients, consultants, and study directors.
  • Generate reports and ensure any deviations/exception events are acceptable.
  • Stay up-to-date with pertinent regulatory developments in the industry.
  • Write, review, and apply relevant SOPs.

Requirements

  • Masters of Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, or related field).
  • Scientific industry experience of project management.
  • Excellent understanding of bioanalytical analysis and associated regulations.
  • Experience with analytical instrumentation (LC-MS/MS).
  • Strong team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in data interpretation and report writing.
  • Bilingual English/French.
