Key Responsibilities

The Bioanalytical Scientist will possess substantial expertise in the research and development of Bioanalytical LC-MS/MS methodologies. The role involves crafting innovative strategies to address challenges associated with mass spectrometry. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, optimizing, and developing assays in alignment with current GLP regulatory standards.

Core Duties Include:

  • Profound knowledge of LC-MS/MS principles and applications.
  • Proficient in serum/plasma and tissue sample extraction methodologies.
  • Engage in the research and development of LC-MS/MS assays, including the troubleshooting of existing assays.
  • Execute analytical pre-clinical and clinical studies in accordance with the Study Plan/Amendments, GLPs, SOPs, and prevailing industry best practices.
  • Facilitate research project planning and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
  • Analyze, interpret, document, and report findings on analytical projects (validation and sample analysis).
  • Collaborate with various Clients, Consultants, and Toxicology Study Directors to coordinate results.
  • Prepare reports or communicate results within study timelines, ensuring any deviations or exceptional events are acceptable and understood in terms of their impact on study data.
  • Stay informed about relevant regulatory advancements in the industry.
  • Draft, review, and implement all pertinent SOPs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, or a related discipline).
  • Experience in project management within the scientific industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of bioanalytical assessments and associated regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation (LC-MS/MS).
  • A collaborative team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and report composition.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
