CAD Technician - Manufacturing

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CAD Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the design and production process by converting customer designs into technical drawings for manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
  • Manipulate customer 2D AutoCAD files to meet company standards.
  • Convert customer-supplied PDF files into AutoCAD files.
  • Import AutoCAD files into Pronest nesting software and select appropriate materials for optimal production efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience as a CAD Technician or similar role.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software is essential.
  • Experience with Pronest nesting software is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
