Senior Commercial Property Administrator

This pivotal role within our property management division calls for a seasoned property administrator who possesses a strong commitment to client relations and team leadership. You will collaborate closely with our real estate and property management teams to guide and enhance the strategic direction of our property management operations.
Key Responsibilities of the Property Administrator- Collaborative management approach and teamwork
- Dedication to establishing effective structures and processes
- Demonstrated capability to contribute to a customer-centric team
- Exceptional skills in building customer relationships (strong communication skills are essential)
- Extensive experience in budget oversight and reporting
- Professional demeanor, adaptability, and the ability to work both independently and within a team
- Commitment to sustainability initiatives and practices
- Experience in managing capital projects
- Ability to analyze building performance data
- Overseeing all property-related activities
- Planning and managing facility budgets
- Solid understanding of architectural plans, building regulations, and construction processes
- Accountable for reviewing and approving all property-related accounts payable
- Conducting regular inspections of properties
- Preparedness to respond to specific emergency situations outside standard office hours
- Post-secondary education in business administration or equivalent designations such as RPA or CPM (preferred)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, particularly with office properties, ideally in the medical sector
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Proficient in budget preparation across all revenue and expense categories, with the ability to interpret and analyze financial statements
- Experience in managing multiple vendors and small-scale capital projects
- Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision
- Flexibility to work varied hours as required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK); familiarity with YARDI is a significant advantage
- Possession of a personal vehicle and valid insurance is mandatory.
Compensation starts at $85,000 and is commensurate with experience.
