We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our property management division as the Senior Property Management Director. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong corporate track record of building and managing property management businesses.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the strategic direction of our property management division, driving growth and profitability.
- Develop and execute on new strategic initiatives to improve cash flow, grow brand awareness, and enhance company value.
- Maximize the financial performance of our new development sites, ensuring they meet or exceed budgeted targets.
- Oversee business operations and activities to ensure the success of our platform, including managing property tax appeals and negotiating major service contracts.
- Build strong relationships with counterparties, stakeholders, and shareholders, acting as a liaison for external communications.
- Review and analyze annual operating budgets and long-range capital budgets for each property, identifying areas for improvement.
- Work with the corporate team to prepare annual business plans, including financial and non-financial projections and performance goals.
- Monitor and evaluate property performance against established budgets, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead execution and training directives to enhance team performance.
- Plan and facilitate regular meetings with Regional Managers to discuss best practices and share knowledge.
- Monitor local market trends and develop new curriculums, standards, or education programs to stay ahead of the competition.
- Review customer service surveys and feedback, making recommendations for improvements and implementing changes as needed.
- Participate in resident events and coordinate marketing objectives to drive growth and engagement.
- Employ the latest customer service technology to enhance the resident experience.
- Lead the Property Management team, providing oversight, mentorship, coaching, and training to ensure team members meet their objectives.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to forecast team requirements, recruit, and onboard new team members.
- Manage the performance and execution of team members, overseeing training plans for all portfolio roles.
