About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Ontario Northland. As a key member of our Facilities department, you will be responsible for managing construction projects and ensuring the successful implementation of our capital plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including scope of work, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with consultants, engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including contracts, specifications, and reports.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders, including project sponsors and team members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure safe and cost-effective execution of projects.
Requirements
  • University degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in building systems, with a focus on industrial settings.
  • Proven project management skills, with experience in coordinating, planning, and scheduling projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of current building and construction codes and regulations, including directives, policies, and practices relevant to the Federal and Provincial public sector.
  • Valid G driver's license and ability to travel.
