We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Railway Track Maintenance Foreman/Woman at Canadian National Railway. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in track maintenance and a commitment to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail network.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the maintenance and repair of railway tracks, including inspection, repair, and replacement of track components.
- Supervise a team of track maintenance workers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that track maintenance activities are coordinated with other railway operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in track maintenance or a related field is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual labor.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a criminal record check.
- Dusty and noisy work environment.
- Outdoors work.
- As per collective agreement.
- Permanent employment.
- 40 hours per week.
- English or French language of work.
