Asset Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asset Protection Specialist to join our team at Walmart Canada. As an Asset Protection Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure and effective work environment for all customers, associates, visitors, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure Store Security: Conduct daily patrols of the facility, validate doors and showcases are secure and functioning properly, and make external arrests when necessary.
- Investigate Shrink and Loss: Investigate instances of financial and physical shrink, communicate findings to Store Leadership, and in cases of internal matters, communicate with the Market Loss Prevention Manager first.
- Support Emergency Procedures: Participate in store evacuation procedures in case of fire or other emergency.
- Conduct Investigations: Conduct investigations as assigned, including instances of internal theft and/or dishonesty, matters relating to external organized retail crime, and cases assigned through Walmart Canada Global Ethics.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate information from different sources and effectively clarify issues for others, often presenting different perspectives.
