Worship Director

We are seeking a skilled Worship Leader to join our team at Thisisvillagechurch. As a key member of our worship team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating worship services that are engaging, meaningful, and Jesus-focused.
Key Responsibilities:- Service Planning: Collaborate with the worship team to plan and coordinate worship services that align with the church's mission and vision.
- Leadership: Provide spiritual leadership and guidance to the worship team, ensuring that they are equipped and empowered to serve effectively.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with the worship team, site pastor, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of worship services.
- Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and equip volunteers to serve in various roles within the worship team.
- Worship Arts: Oversee the development and implementation of worship arts, including music, drama, and other creative elements.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments and teams to ensure that worship services are integrated with the overall church program.
- Philosophical Alignment: Be philosophically aligned with Thisisvillagechurch's mission, focus, and strategy.
- Character Qualifications: Fulfill character qualifications as highlighted in 1 Timothy and Titus.
- Theological Appreciation: Demonstrate a high level of theological appreciation and understanding of basic church doctrines.
- Leadership Skills: Possess strong leadership skills, including the ability to cast vision, inspire teams, and empower others to serve.
- Communication Skills: Be an effective communicator, able to articulate the vision and mission of the church to various audiences.
The Worship Leader will work a standard 12-hour workweek, including midweek rehearsals and events as needed. The position will require flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
