Clinical Externship Opportunity

The Clinical Extern Program at Hamilton Health Sciences is seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to support our clinical teams. As a Clinical Extern, you will work alongside experienced healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Assist with head-to-toe assessments and vital signs
- Support patient safety through falls risk assessments and skin assessments
- Help with activities of daily living
- Participate in interprofessional healthcare teams
- Enrolled in a baccalaureate nursing program or practical nursing program
- Completed one in-person clinical placement
- Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs) who have initiated registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Excellent academic standing
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Effective communication and organizational skills
