About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dining Room Server to join our team at Parkland on Eglinton West in Etobicoke, Ontario.

As a Dining Room Server, you will be responsible for ensuring food quality, presentation, and service delivery meet established department standards. This includes preparing and providing meal service to residents and guests, ensuring dining room appearance meets established standards, and contributing to the team environment as a member of the Food and Beverage department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring food quality, presentation, and service delivery meet established department standards
  • Preparing and providing meal service to residents and guests according to established standards, procedures, and guidelines
  • Ensuring dining room appearance meets established standards, including table linens, tables, and wait stations
  • Clearing tables, loading and safely operating the dishwasher, and completing manual ware washing as required
  • Communicating with the supervisor if there is a noted change in the nutritional status of a resident
  • Promoting a safety culture by continuously working safely and identifying and reporting hazards

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about the healthcare sector and ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care. If you have a high-school diploma or equivalent education, at least one year of experience with serving food or demonstrated experience in customer service, and the ability to provide a clear criminal record check upon hire, we encourage you to apply.
