Job Title: Server

At Fairmont Royal York, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Take orders, serve food and beverages, and handle payments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and other servers to ensure seamless service.
  • Upsell and promote menu items, beverages, and special offers to increase revenue.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings and training sessions to stay informed about menu changes, promotions, and service standards.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
  • Smart Serve training program certification required.
