About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Regional Trainer to join our team at HUB International Canada West ULC (Canada West). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our commercial producers and support staff have the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs for commercial producers and support staff, focusing on commercial insurance knowledge and processes.
  • Collaborate with the team leader and regional training team to update and improve work processes, procedures, and training materials.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on commercial insurance and processes, working on projects to implement new tools and improve existing tool use and processes.
  • Support M&A activities, including onsite support during go-live.
  • Assist in audit review and recommendation implementation.
  • Provide training and support to new and experienced commercial producers and support staff.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in the insurance industry, servicing a complex commercial insurance book of business.
  • CAIB designation preferred.
  • Hands-on knowledge of desktop applications, including Applied EPIC, Applied toolset, Microsoft suite, and Learning Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of insurance and insurance brokerage operations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including instructional and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on motivational skills and a positive attitude.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to travel when needed between training locations.
