Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our organization in strategic direction, operational leadership, and long-term growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a talented and passionate team of employees, volunteers, and partners committed to building awareness, acceptance, and inclusion for our province's autism community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic priorities in collaboration with the Board of Directors
  • Advocate with all levels of government to secure funding and resources
  • Continuously innovate and improve programs to meet the evolving needs of our community
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government, community partners, and donors
  • Ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organization
Requirements
  • Proven experience in executive leadership, preferably in a non-profit or social services organization
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including families, individuals, and community partners
  • Knowledge of the philanthropic, project-based, and funding realities of our sector
