About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively integrate Patient and Family Centered Care principles into practice.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills to deliver high-quality care.
  • Play a key role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year's Long Term Care nursing experience.
  • Experience with Connect Care and general computer skills.
  • CTAS preferred.
