About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Vegreville, Alberta. As a key member of our interprofessional healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing safe, quality patient and family centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively integrate Patient and Family Centered Care principles into practice.
  • Provide care to patients in a long-term care setting, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Meet the requirements for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
  • Minimum one year's Long Term Care nursing experience.
  • Experience with Connect Care and general computer skills.
