Drywall Installer

Gauthier Drywall Inc is seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying finishes to create smooth surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to create smooth surfaces
- Tape joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
- Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
- Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster
- Clean and prepare surfaces for finishing
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 5 years or more of experience in drywall installation
- Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. You will be working in a commercial, institutional, and residential setting, with various locations. You will be required to work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and in dusty and noisy environments.
