Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Coding Instructor to join our team of educators. As a Coding Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality coding lessons to children aged 7-14, creating a fun and engaging learning environment, and providing exceptional customer service to parents and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver coding lessons to small groups of students, ensuring a high level of engagement and participation.
  • Create a positive and safe learning environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking.
  • Work closely with students to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and develop personalized learning plans to meet their needs.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and students, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Contribute to the development of new coding curricula and programs, and participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest coding trends and technologies.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching, mentoring, or coaching children aged 7-14.
  • Strong knowledge of coding concepts and programming languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm, with a passion for coding and education.
