Job Title: Front End Supervisor

At Thrifty Foods, we're committed to delivering exceptional shopping experiences to our customers. As a Front End Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of friendly and well-trained staff to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Supervise the front end department and ensure a clean and presentable work area at all times.
  • Stay up-to-date with weekly and in-store specials to provide customers with the best possible shopping experience.
  • Foster customer loyalty and engagement through active participation in store events and promotions.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and initiatives, including SOP, OH&S, and food safety.
  • Recruit, train, and develop employees to support the department leadership team.
  • Schedule and monitor breaks, back-ups, and other departmental activities.
  • Participate in final inventory calculations and follow store lock-up procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma and minimum 12 months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a focus on customer service and team development.
